According to Darwinian Evolution Theory and Juul-punt.com, if men had large penises and small feet, they would keep falling forward. Obviously, having large feet as well, is a case of survival of the fittest.

Origin of the Shoe Size - Penis Size Conversion Table

The original shoe size chart demonstrated a point with respect to globalizing products: shoe sizes are not measured in the same units around the world.

However, this created interest in another relationship, which I have now documented. This chart maps sizes of shoes in different units used around the world (inches, centimeters, American, British, Japanese, and European shoes sizes) to the lengths of men's units (in inches and centimeters). To read the table, first find the row that matches the shoe size measurement system you are using. Then look across that row to the column with the shoe size you want to know about. Then you can follow the column down to the row containing the corresponding penis size in either inches or centimeters. For example, if the shoe size is an American shoe size, use the row labeled "U.S.". Find the column with the number "8" in that row. Then, scan down the column and you can see the corresponding penis size is "6.15" inches or "15.62" centimeters.

Your Inches May Vary

I am not responsible for any problems caused by reliance on this table. With respect to ordering shoes, I suggest you talk to the vendor or merchant about size conversions before ordering. Note that manufacturers vary on sizing as well. Differences from the values on this page by either plus or minus a size or half-size are not uncommon. And as always, your mileage (er, inches) may vary. Please, no e-mails bragging or whining about how your dimensions vary from the chart.

Shoe Width, Shoe Style, Clown Shoes, and Toast

As for shoe widths, there isn't enough information about shoe widths to create the corresponding mapping to penis widths.

I have been asked whether the table should vary according to race. I don't know. However, I am considering breaking the table into categories for men that wear penny loafers vs. Nikes and Reeboks vs. army boots, but more studies need to be done. Some of you may be wearing clown shoes. Speaking of which, to those of you wearing, size 14 (American) shoes, I toast you with "Chin-Chin!"

Medical Studies of the Shoe Size-Penis Size Relationship

Recent Study: The results of a study were announced at the end of September, 2002 indicating that there is no relationship between shoe size and penis size. There were many articles reporting this.
Snopes has a summary of the research.

According to the researcher, results indicate that raw IQ and the number of published research papers are the best predictors of a large penis.

Size 15 Shoes

This page has become very popular as a discussion list item in forums around the world. One of the most frequent comments has to do with the lack of data for size 15 (U.S.) shoes. I had no idea they were so common. Makes me feel very inadequate. I now suffer from shoe envy. I'll try to find some data for those of you with size 15. At the moment, all I know is that if I had to walk a mile in your shoes, it would take far fewer steps.

Shoe Width

There are also lots of wisecracks in the discussion forums about shoe size not being important, it's the width that matters. (It's even harder to find data on shoe width and penile girth.)

Then there are a few interesting comments speculating on the right size woman's shoe, and (therefore) the right size woman, for each size man's shoe. (There is a "barefoot and pregnant" joke in there somewhere.) Perhaps it's a case of one size fits all.

Shoe Rubbers

Given all the interest in the penis-shoe relationship, I might borrow the Trojan company's slogan "designed specifically to enhance women's sexual pleasure" and market a line of (perhaps) Totes company ribbed, extra thick, shoe rubbers with slogans such as:

"Designed specifically to make women believe you can enhance their sexual pleasure!"

Of course there is also the ever popular: "Adds inches to your image", and "Improve your confidence".

Average Shoe Size

Question in my mailbox: "My shoe size is a 10.5, so my penis is 8.5??? Isn't that large considering the average shoe size is 10.5 and the average size penis is 6 inches?"

Average shoe sizes for men are documented in the 8 to 10.5 range. The U.S. military standard MIL-STD-1472D says it is currently 10.5, and has increased over the past few generations. Men on average wore a size 6 shoe at the time of the American Revolution according to Jennifer Howard at MSN Slate.

American women, on the average, wear a size 8 wide shoe.
Average height for women: 5'4" (163 cm.) About 68 % are between 5'2" and 5'7".
Average height for men: 5'9" (174 cm). About 68 % are between 5'6" and 5'11".

However, please note that:

Averages for men differ around the world due to variations in nutrition, genetics, etc. So what might be right for American men, might not be true for men elsewhere. The table does not represent just Americans.
Your feet continue to grow, so age makes a difference.
Statistics don't always indicate what you think. The distribution for men's shoe sizes may be different from the distribution for other body parts. So measuring sizes of different body parts will give you averages, but the range of values may be wider or smaller at each size.
The most recent study indicated there was no correlation between shoes and penises.
